Chromium and vanadium, the same elements that give emerald and tsavorite garnet their pure green color are responsible for the color in this rich forest green chrome tourmaline. Found primarily in Africa and Russia, gems of over 1 carat are extremely rare. Offsetting this color is the whitest of white platinum and the rich golden of 18k gold, accented with a diamond and a “bubbles and seaweed” original design.
