Details:
Chrysaprase with its bright apple green color is often confused with jade. However, it is actually a cryptocrystalline quartz, with crystals so small that under normal magnification they do not appear as separately distinct particles. It is the most valuable gem of the Chalcedony group of stones, and is found primarily in Australia. It is used by healing therapists to aid the healing of wounds.
