Gail's Designs Featured at 2009 Emmys Event
NAGS HEAD, NC (September 14, 2009)—An exclusive Hollywood exhibition September 18, and 19th in conjunction with the 2009 Emmy Awards will include four platinum designs by Jewelry by Gail: two by artist Gail Kowalski, and two diamond vintage pieces. The exhibition is a red carpet preview of platinum jewelry by top designers for celebrities, celebrity stylists, producers, editors, and broadcast media. Top celebrities and stylists will select jewelry to be worn at the 2009 Emmy Awards. The exhibition is the result of an international competition hosted by Ms. Kowalski’s platinum designs selected for this premier event include the Brushfire Earrings featuring an intricate ribbon-curl design surrounding fine Burmese rubies, and the Climbing Rose Earrings, a pair of long platinum tendril style earrings with natural purplish-pink and colorless diamonds. Two multi-diamond vintage haute couture pins will also be on display for celebrities to consider for their walk down the red carpet. The “Paisley Pin” features over twelve carats of diamonds with a large center emerald cut diamond surrounded by a multi-diamond paisley leaf design. The “Songbird” pin includes 16 carats of diamond with a spectacular display of 136 individually cut gems. This latest honor adds to a considerable list of recognitions Gail Kowalski has achieved. She is a two-time winner of the Johnson Matthey Platinum Award for excellence in platinum design, winner of the 1985 Debeers Diamonds Today award, a finalist in the Diamonds International competition, and a winner of numerous PGI awards and honors showcasing her designs in  10 - 5, Monday - Saturday • 207 E.
